专利说明:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a suction bag for medical or surgical use. The suction bag has an interface for the suction target. The suction bag comprises a bag portion and a lid fixedly connected thereto, comprising a vacuum duct for introducing the vacuum suction into the suction bag, a filter mounting recess surrounded by a sleeve and a filter duct mounted in the mounting recess.
The problem with the arrangement described above is that the flow of air through the filter is impaired if an additional filter is used in connection with diathermy or if the filter is partially clogged due to liquid spilled into the filter. Brief description of the invention The object of the invention is thus to develop a suction bag in which the above-described problem-solved solution is solved. The object of the invention is achieved by a suction bag and a suction bag arrangement, which are characterized by what is stated in the independent claims. Preferred embodiments of the invention are the subject of dependent claims.
The suction bag of the invention is used in connection with medical or surgical procedures to aspirate fluid from a suction target. Generally, the suction target must be operated on by the patient. The volume of the suction bag is often 1000 to 6000 ml. The advantage of the suction bag according to the invention is that the air flows well even in those situations when an additional filter is used in connection with diathermy between the filter and the sleeve or when the suction liquid has splashed on the lower surface of the filter.
> 25 The suction bag and suction bag arrangement are described below with N in their operating position. 3 The suction bag comprises a bag portion and a lid fixed to it. z In other words, the bag portion is permanently attached to the lid so that the bag portion = and the lid cannot be detached without damaging the structure. The lid can be a single piece, in which case the lid, except for the filter, is made of the same material. Generally, the plastic material of the lid is polypropylene. The plastic material of the bag portion 3 is generally polyethylene. The lid is rigid in material, while N the bag portion is flexible.
The suction bag has a connection for the suction target and a connection for the vacuum. The connection for the suction object is usually implemented with a so-called
patient interface. However, fluid can be sucked through the patient interface from objects other than the patient, for example, fluid can be sucked from the floor of the operating room. The patient interface may have a detachable angle connector ready for the patient hose.
The connection for the vacuum is usually a channel formed at the edge of the lid and extending inside the lid. The cover comprises a filter mounting recess with which the above-mentioned channel joins. The mounting recess has a filter through which the vacuum suction acts inside the suction bag and causes suction to the object to be sucked through the patient connection.
The filter mounted in the mounting recess is substantially cylindrical. The cross-sectional shape of the mounting recess differs from the circular shape. It may be oval in shape or some other shape other than round. The mounting recess is surrounded by a sleeve with a non-circular cross-section, the cross-section of which has the diameter of the widest point and the diameter of the narrowest point. The cross-section of the sleeve may be oval or some other non-circular shape. The diameter of the widest point of the cross-section of the sleeve is at least 0.90% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point. The diameter of the widest point of the cross-section of the sleeve may be 3.00 to 10.00% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point, preferably it is 4.00 to 9.00% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point, and most preferably 4.80 - 8.60% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point. In general, the diameter of the widest point is at least 0.90% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point. The diameter of the widest point may be 3.00% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point, preferably it is at least 4.00% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point and most preferably it is at least 4.80% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point . In general, the diameter of the widest point is at most 10.00% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point, preferably it is at most 9.00% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point, and most preferably it is at most = 8.60% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point. diameter. N 30 The above percentages P are calculated using the outer diameter d1 of the widest part of the sleeve E and the outer diameter - d2 of the narrowest part of the sleeve such that P = ((d1-d2) / d2) * 100. The calculation is made to two decimal places S the third decimal is rounded up if the third decimal S is 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 and the third decimal is rounded down if N 35 the third decimal is 1, 2, 3 or 4. The widest diameter of the sleeve and the narrowest the diameter can be at any angle to each other. Measurement natural
through the center of the filter.
For example, the diameters may be substantially perpendicular to each other, as required by the oval shape, or the widest and narrowest diameters may be at an angle of less than 90% to each other.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The invention will now be described in more detail in connection with preferred embodiments, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Figures 1 and 2 show a suction bag and canister in cross-section; Figure 3 shows a top view of the suction bag and canister; Figure 4 is a bottom view of the suction bag lid; Figure 5 shows a perspective view of the suction bag cover obliquely from below; Figures 6 and 7 show possible cross-sectional shapes of the sleeve.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Figures 1 to 5 show the same embodiment of the invention, so that the details shown in the different figures belong to one and the same suction bag or suction bag arrangement.
Some of the details presented are not necessary, so they are presented so that they can be included in the structure.
The suction bag arrangement comprises a suction bag 1 and a canister 2. The bag part 3 of the suction bag 1 is mounted inside the canister 2 so that a lid 4 fixedly connected to the bag part 3 closes the canister 2. The lid 4 has a groove 5 into which the edge of the canister 2 rests.
In the vicinity of the groove 5, the portion of the lid 4 inside the canister 2 may have protrusions which prevent the suction bag 1 of the wrong size from being installed in the canister.
One possibility is that there are protrusions at regular intervals on the circumference of the lid 4 falling inside the canister> 25 and coming into contact with the wall of the canister 2. 3 The lid 4 of the suction bag 1 has a patient connection 13, in which a corner connector 14 of the patient connection 14 may be pre-installed. A hose coming from the patient via the angle connector 14 is connected to the patient connection 13.
The patient connection 13 can also be used for already feeding liquid sucked from other objects into the suction bag 1. Such an object can be, for example, the floor of an operating room.
The patient connection 13 can be closed by a plug 15 of the patient connection, which is fixed to the edge of the cover 4 by a cord 16. The side of the plug 15 which is outside the cover 4 when the patient connection 13 is closed by the plug 15 may have an annular
groove with radial ribs 17 of the plug. The ribs 17 prevent the plug 15 from being attached directly to the corner connector 14 of the patient interface 13. The cord 16 may be toothed in its longitudinal direction, making it flexible and easily bendable when the patient interface 13 is to be closed by the plug 15.
The canister 4 has a vacuum connection 6, which may be provided with a corner connection 7 of the vacuum connection, to which the suction hose of the vacuum source is connected. From the vacuum connection 6, a vacuum channel 8 of the canister leaves, which communicates with the vacuum channel 9 of the suction bag 1 in the lid 4 of the suction bag 1 and in the space between the suction bag 1 and the canister 2. The vacuum acts inside the suction bag 1 through a porous filter 10. The filter 10 is a cylindrical body mounted in a mounting recess 22 at the mouth of the vacuum duct 9 inside the suction bag 1. The filter 10 closes when the liquid surface reaches the lower surface 10b of the filter 10. In this case, the vacuum suction also stops working.
The filter 10 is surrounded by a sleeve 11. A gap 12 is left between the inner wall of the sleeve 11 and the outer surface of the filter 11, in which an additional filter can be mounted. The cross-sectional shape of the sleeve 11 differs from the round one. The non-circular shape also achieves good air flow even in special situations, such as when using an additional filter or when the filter 10 is partially clogged, even though the suction bag 1 is not yet full. In other words, the vacuum suction operates normally regardless of the special situation, because the non-circular shape of the cross-section of the sleeve 11 leaves room for air to flow between the cylindrical filter 10 and the sleeve 11.
The diameter of the widest point of the cross-section of the sleeve 11 is at least 0.90% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point. The diameter of the widest point of the cross-section of the sleeve may be 3.00 to 10.00% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point, preferably it is 4.00 to 9.00% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point, and most preferably 4.80 to 8, 60% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point D. In general, the diameter of the widest point is at least N 0.90% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point. The diameter of the widest point = may be 3.00% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point, preferably it is at least 4.00% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point and E most preferably it is at least 4.80% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point diameter. In general, the diameter of the widest point is at most 10.00% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point, preferably it is at most 9.00% larger than the diameter of its narrowest point and most preferably it is at most N60 8.60% larger than its narrowest point. point diameter.
The measurement of the sleeve 11 is performed on its outer surface side. Since the material thickness of the sleeve 11 is substantially constant, the measurement gives reliable information on the internal surface of the sleeve 11 side at the widest and the narrowest diameter.
The lid 4 may have a serial connection 20 which can be closed by a plug 21 of the serial connection 5. The serial connection 20 can be used to connect the suction bags in series, for sampling, for solids dosing and for manual emptying.
The cover 4 may also have a slot 23 for attaching the accessory. Furthermore, the lid 4 may have markings for mounting the suction bag 1 in the canister 2 so that the suction bag 1 can be correctly and easily installed in place.
When the suction bag 1 is removed from the canister 2, the suction bag 1 may have an outlet rib 18 to facilitate removal. to the canister 2.
Figures 6 and 7 show the measurement of the widest diameter d1 and the narrowest diameter d2 of the sleeve 11. In Fig. 6, the cross-section of the sleeve 11 is an ellipse, the widest diameter d1 and the narrowest diameter d2 being perpendicular to each other. The measurement is performed on the outer surface 11a side of the sleeve. The diameters d1 and d2 pass through the center 10a of the filter 10. A gap 12 remains between the outer surface of the filter 10 and the inner surface of the sleeve 11.
In Fig. 7, the cross-section of the sleeve 11 has an irregular geometry, the widest diameter d1 and the narrowest diameter d2 being at an angle of less than 90 ° to each other. The measurement is performed on the outer surface 11a side of the sleeve. The diameters d1 and d2 pass through the center 10a of the filter 10. A gap 12 is left between the outer surface of the filter 10 and the inner surface of the sleeve 11.
It is obvious to a person skilled in the art that as the technology develops, the basic idea of the invention can be implemented in many different ways. Thus, the invention and its embodiments N are not limited to those described above, but may vary within the scope of the claims.
